Section 5 (AJ) Medical Footwear

Cutlery Set - Queens A range of stainless steel utensils with an angled head mounted in the Queens built-up handle, enabling those with limited wrist movement to eat more easily. The knife has a blade bent at an angle to the handle and can be used with a rocker action. The fork and spoon are available as right or left handed versions. Specifications as for standard Queens range. Length of handle 98mm (35/8"). Diameter of handle 30mm (11/4"). The Rehabilitation Appliance Program (RAP) is an Australian Government program, administered by the Department of Veterans' Affairs, which provides aids and appliances to eligible members of the veteran community to help them maintain their independence as they grow older. RAP appliances are available to Gold and White Card holders with a clinically assessed need. Aids and appliances are provided based on a referral from a Local Medical Officer, or approved health professional such as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist.

Qld Rehab Equipment is an authorised representative for the Country Care Group, Qld Rehab Equipment is able to accept referrals under the DVA Rehabilitation Appliance Program. 

Referrals should be forwarded by FAX to Qld Rehab Equipment on 1300 802 710 using the RAP Direct Order Form.
